Mental Health First Aid: Adult/L1 Awareness

This three-hour accredited course recognises you as being Mental Health Aware. Course numbers are limited to ensure that you can be safe and supported whilst you learn. Permission is required from Parents/Carers if the delegate is under the age of 16.
Learning takes place in a manageable session through presentation, discussion and activity. Delegates leave with their own course manual.
Course Content
- Understanding of what mental health is and how to challenge stigma
- Basic knowledge of some common mental health issues
- Introduction to looking after your own mental health and maintaining wellbeing
- Confidence to support persons in distress or may be experiencing a mental health issue
Course Costs
- £125 per person
- £750 per group (10 maximum)
- £900 per group (11-16)
- £1300 per group (17-30)
