This one day CPD accredited course builds further from the one hour Awareness workshop. The Champion course invites you to reflect on how neuro-diversity is currently being recognised and supported in your workplace, before considering ways we may support neuro-diversity more (and why we should)!
Learning takes place in manageable sessions through a mixture of group activities, presentations and discussions.
The course is accompanied by resources to support ongoing development.
Champion Course Content:
(In addition to the Awareness workshop)
- Understand neuro-diversity and how executive functioning affects daily life
- Understand how 'meltdowns' and 'shutdowns' occur and their negative impacts
- Recognise how anxieties related to external factors affect us all, including neuro-divergents
- Understand the importance of providing overall workplace wellbeing support
- Understand the importance of diversity and inclusion to include neurodivergent individuals, including those that self-identify
- Discover ways to create supportive and sensory-safe working environments
- Recognise positive impacts that can be made through reasonable adjustments
- Understand the importance of clear communication and develop an understanding of how complicated communication actually is
- Recognise that behaviours are communication and understand the vast benefits of addressing perceived negative behaviours proactively and empathetically
- Reflect on communication errors (from all sides) and consider ways they may be prevented to improve morale, workplace wellbeing and productivity

Course Costs
- £225 per person
- £1600 per group (10 maximum)
- £1950 per group (11-16)
